Ingredients:

• 1 ¾ cups pumpkin purée

• ¾ cup brown sugar

• 2 eggs

• 1 cup evaporated milk

• 1 tsp cinnamon

• ½ tsp nutmeg

• ½ tsp ginger

• 1 tsp vanilla extract

• 1 unbaked 9” pie crust

For the Maple Whipped Cream:

• 1 cup heavy cream

• 2 tbsp maple syrup

• ½ tsp vanilla extract

1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).

2. In a large bowl, whisk together pumpkin purée, sugar, eggs, spices, and milk until smooth.

3. Pour into crust and bake for 15 minutes.

4. Reduce heat to 350°F and bake for another 40–45 minutes, until the filling is set.

5. Cool completely and chill for 2 hours before serving.

6. Whip cream, maple syrup, and vanilla until soft peaks form — then add a generous dollop on top of each slice.
