Community and Housing Watch: What's Happening in Acton?

97 Bower Street residential proposal: Open house to be rescheduled

Residents following growth and housing proposals in Acton may want to bookmark the Town's project page for 97 Bower Street. The active applications seek permission for a proposed five-storey, 80-unit residential apartment building, with 92 proposed parking spaces. These are proposal details, not an approved or completed development.

The Town's project page says the applicant cancelled the public open house originally scheduled for October 7, and that a new date will be announced when available. No replacement date was verified for this week's guide. For homeowners, prospective buyers and nearby residents, the most reliable approach is to follow the official planning record rather than rely on rumours about construction or approval.
