What is Ontario Land Transfer Tax (LTT)

The Ontario Land Transfer Tax (LTT) is a tax imposed by the provincial government on the transfer of real estate property in Ontario, Canada. • 1.0% of ($250,000 - $55,000) = $1,950
• 1.5% of ($400,000 - $250,000) = $2,250
• 2.0% of ($600,000 - $400,000) = $4,000

Total Ontario LTT = $275 + $1,950 + $2,250 + $4,000 = $8,475
